I'm just a human bean, born and raised in Perth, Western Australia.
Right now, I'm working in Western Australia as a hydrogeologist. A hydrogeologist is a groundwater scientist, and it means I get to carry out investigations and contribute to water-related decisions, civil to mining, from greenfields all the way to closure.
I have a budding interest in coding, data management and data analysis. While my job lets me get down and dirty, travelling to remote places, I've always been fascinated by tech. In particular, I'd love to work at improving how we handle and utilise all the geological, environmental and technical data we collect.
I joined She Codes Plus hoping to build a solid coding foundation, whilst taking advantage of the opportunity to learn alongside like minded women.
I have a pretty good rock collection, a pretty average houseplant collection and a pretty neglected Steam library of cozy games. In my free time, you'll find me exploring new places with my family, collecting interesting rocks, and playing video games.
